Crossing the Atlantic.. From Halifax, Nova Scotia to Galway, Ireland

Hello everyone!

We have been cruising through the Atlantic Ocean for about 4
days now. It has been a wonderful experience so far! The weather has
been fairly decent... definitely not sun tanning weather... but we have
not hit any major storms.... until today! It is 54 degrees outside and
the ocean is very angry! There are major waves.. it makes walking around
the ship very difficult but very fun at the same time. Around lunch time
today we hit a really rough patch in the water and everything went
flying to the other side of the room including people, food and
furniture! Supposedly there is going to be a storm for the next few
days (YAY!).... Classes started on Saturday and things went well. All my
teachers have wonderful personalities and and the course work seems like
it will be fun to do unlike at UCCS where it mainly seems like busy work.

Ship life it pretty amazing. Everyone is extremely friendly
so making friends was no problem at all! The people on the ship have
already become like long lost family members. It is a very welcoming and
upbeat environment! I am so thankful to be able to experience this. It
has not even been a week and I can already tell that this voyage will
change my life more than I had anticipated! The food here is pretty
simple... there is always pasta, a selected meat, cooked veggies, salad,
soup and of course peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! I am definitely
looking forward to reaching Ireland so I cant experience some variety!
But hey I cant complain.

I miss you all and I cannot wait to see all your beautiful faces in
December!

~~ Amy :*
